Jonesborough is not only the oldest town in Tennessee, but it has been dubbed the "Storytelling capitol  of the world." Every year, a festival filled with music, workshops and special speakers is held here.  People will gather from across the globe to learn from the greats and have a chance to share their story whether its from stage or just practicing with other attendees.  This event is held every October and loved by many.  It is held in a building on Main Street with plenty of outdoor space for eating, shopping and enjoying the breaks between the sessions!  One could also extend their stay and enjoy more of the mountains and fall activities in Eastern Tennessee.  If you enjoy storytelling, or perhaps you are wanting to become a storyteller, consider booking your tickets for this one of a kind event!
