Be transported to Greece  at the Centennial Park in Nashville.  Come and see the outside replica of the well known Parthenon in Athens, Greece, where you will see the details, size and materials used to look like the original.  You will soon see why this place has been nicknamed "Athens of the South"  While taking in the sights, consider taking a stroll around the beautiful pond lined with greenery.  If you're feeling more adventurous, climb the 48 steps into a modern museum where you will find photos and artifacts that represent parts of Greece with signs that tell the facts.  Only the outside of this grand building is made to look like the original Parthenon.  The museum has been temporarily closed for the annual April-June HVAC maintenance and any other repairs along with possible display changes.  The regular hours are not posted, so be sure to check the website outside of those months to see more information.
