Christmas Nostalgia in Jonesborough

A visit to Jonesborough offers quite the experience during the holidays.  While anyone could discover their own favorite finds during the holiday, no matter where they live, there is a different atmosphere here.  Jonesborough is the oldest town in all  of Tennessee and they accomplish combining both the feel of nostalgia and new in this town full of charm and delight.

It only makes sense that nostalgia is found in the heart of the oldest town.  For over 30 years this small but growing town has been steeped in their own traditions that evolved with time.  What sets this town apart is their unique traditions that you won't find anywhere else.  While places often have a sighting of Santa, Jonesborough is set apart by where Santa sits. At the start of the season, you will find Santa at the top of the unique courthouse steps adorned by large white pillars with a building made of brick.  Here Santa listens to the whispers of children's hearts.  A sense of magic is certainly found in the town of Jonesborough.
