The Listening Room Cafe

For some live music, plan a visit to the Listening Room Cafe in downtown Nashville.  Their website gives a schedule of events and dates.  New shows are added throughout the year.  While this place is in the heart of Nashville, it sits nestled into an older part of this cherished town.  In addition to purchased tickets, a minimum food charge is required as well as paid valet.  Many musicians come to this legendary place in hopes to be discovered by another artist or a record label, while most of the attendees are there for good food, good music and clean fun.  Some of the best songwriters also book events here and you get to hear the stories behind the songs.  While this hidden gem sits in older side of town, it is full of life and has been updated yet still holds the classic feel.  Whether a musician is looking to be discovered or you come to hear a name you recognize, you can be sure to enjoy good music and a good time while hearing the stories behind the songs.
