Off to the Races

While many properties and building throughout middle Tennessee tell stories, there are a couple of unique experiences that stand out amongst the rest.

Belle Mede Estate in Nashville, is a historic sight which has a rich history of family, farm and championship horses.  While economic decline has shifted focus off of thoroughbreds, the estate groundskeepers work hard to preserve history.  Through exabits that tell of the farms racing history, current horses have rich bloodline connected to past champions that were once bred on the same property.

Today you can take a number of tours and enjoy many experiences throughout the year.  From wine and food pairings, to different tours and family holiday fun, there is something for everyone.  In November and December there are a number of activities including a FREE holiday open house and a wreath making workshop amongst several days  of fun for kids.   You can easily find all there is to do under upcoming events, and how to book your experience on their website.  Activities range from $20-$90 with a couple of free activities in the winter.
