Santa!

I said it!  I suppose you might be wonderin’ why I am bringing up Santa in the springtime!  I do declare we all seem to put rules, boundaries, and limits on when something is allowed to be mentioned or recognized.  I say paint outside the lines darlin’!  Life and the world around us are hard enough, so live a little!  Let joy fill up that jar of yours! Joy is a choice!

When I would take road trips to the mountains I discovered a shop called “Santas-clauset.”  Every time I entered that place, time seemed to slow down.  I only ever stayed on the first floor of this two-story wonderland.  This place was a maze of a wide variety of ornaments, train sets, large Santa statues, and an area where you could buy jellies, jams, and winter drink mixes; open all year round y’all!  Over time I’ve struck up conversations and left my mark through connection with the staff.  Them memories will stay with me firever.  I suppose you could say I felt a calling or a pull to go and impact some lives while I were there.
